Personal

Hi there! My name is Blakeley, and I'm an avid lover of life and adventure! I am originally from Colorado Springs, CO and am currently in my first semester as a graduate student at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. My greatest passions in life revolve around traveling, photography/ filmmaking, and recreating in the outdoors as much as possible. I also love movies and as much live music as I can experience. Here are some fun facts about me:

• I am a certified scuba diver and have dove in 7 countries 

• I speak French! C'est la vie!

• I am a Semester at Sea alumni (Fall 2023 - V. 132)

• I grew up volunteering at the Cheyenne Mtn. Zoo in Colorado Springs 

• I have currently been to 4 continents, 27 countries, and 2 Wonders of the World!

Professional

I graduated from William J. Palmer high school in Colorado Springs in May of 2021 and went on to attend CSU for 3.5 years for my undergraduate program. I just graduated this December from Colorado State University in Fort Collins with a B.S in Natural Resource Tourism.  From March to September 2023, I completed my academic internship as a social media marketing intern for the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA). Throughout my undergraduate program, I took several travel/hospitality/tourism related marketing and social media courses through CSU, and have additionally published a couple of travel related short films on my YouTube channel. I am currently working towards my Master's degree in Communication & Media Management at CSU and just started this semester. I am super passionate about making social media and general media content specifically within travel and tourism. I also have extensive experience in writing; both creative and professional. I hope to connect with you, and welcome to my page!
