Welcome to Malta- the European Union's only island nation! Here you'll find a unique cultural blend of Italy, Tunisia and commonly known Western European vibes. Malta is comprised of a three island archipalego, of which two are inhabited (Malta & Gozo). It is a very old and historical country, with roots and signifance dating back to the Medevial age. Malta is a must see and integral part of the Mediterranean Sea and passageway, and is certainly worth a visit! The island of Malta is so small that you can easily visit the entire country during a short stay. I have comprised a sweet and simple guide of how to get around Malta (based on my personal, five day experience). I hope you enjoy and happy adventuring!
Malta Must See's:
St. Julian's Bay for shopping, eating, and strolling
The Blue Lagoon
Mellieħa (both the beach town & the historical area)
Paceville area for the nightlife area
The Malta National Aquarium

Top Do's & Dont's:
Do:
walk whenever possible (ride shares are expensive)
make sure to try some authentic Sicilian cuisine
support local businesses and boating charters
get in the water whenever you can... it's worth it!!
Don't:
walk alone (especially at night and is only a concern in some neighborhoods)
expect to be able to walk into restaurants at peak hours without a reservation
rely on taxis and ride share vehicles to get around
solely rely on the desalinated tap water (it generally won't make you sick though)
